The Magic Number Four

 I am absolutely enjoying having this cute little chunk around. Baby #4 has been a very different experience for me as a mom. Of course, I've loved each one of our babies, but looking back I've realized that for me baby #1 was a little stressful as I figured out motherhood, baby #2 was a little stressful as I figured out how to juggle mothering more than one, and baby #3 was a little stressful just because we had so many other big changes happening as a family. Somehow, despite having babies just 15 months apart, baby #4 has felt almost magical. I don't stress or worry about him, the adjustment as a family as been far easier than I expected and this cute little monkey just brings us all so much JOY!

Big Kids

Look at these two cuties! How in the world did they get so big, so fast!? Since Declan was born we have started referring to our kids in two groups - the big kids and the babies. This year our big kids are in 1st Grade and Preschool. Next year I'll be sending them both off to the Elementary School. They are both doing great so far this year. We are so very proud of the incredible kids they are.

Cameron

I just found this cute picture of my favorite 6 year old and could help but write about how much fun Cameron is. Adam and I are constantly commenting on how funny and just cool this kid is. Everything he does just seems to come naturally to him. He has such a kind heart, is such a good friend, is {too} popular with the girls already, is so funny and so sharp. We really couldn't have asked for a better big brother to take care of and set the example for the younger kids. Love this kid.

Little Bubba

 It is so much fun to see how much the kids absolutely adore their baby brother! Our little bubba {as Anniston calls him} can't even squeak without his 3 siblings coming to the rescue and he always has someone to "play" with. Look at how cute these 4 are. How did I ever get so lucky!?

Back-To-School Dinner Party

The kids did the decorating and helped make the food for our annual Back-To-School dinner party. They are both beyond thrilled for school to be starting again. Cameron is so excited about more than one recess and eating lunch at school and Brooklyn can't wait to "go" to preschool. I, on the other hand, am struggling a little bit. I know Cameron will do great and I am excited about his teacher, I'm just not sure about having him gone for so long. I just know I'm going to miss him like crazy. As far as Brooklyn, I'm really looking forward to being her teacher again this year, but I'm far too aware of the fact that this her last preschool year. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really do wish I could freeze time for just a little bit and keep them little for a while longer. Well, at least it's fun to experience all these milestones with them. {sigh}
