We have just a little over 2 weeks before this little girl will join the family! Since I haven't posted a single "belly" picture, or really anything about this pregnancy, I thought I had better get on it! :) So, here it is, 9 months in a nut shell...
* I am SPOILED! I sincerely apologize to those of you incredible women who have difficult pregnancies. I wish I could spread the love, because this had been another fantastic pregnancy. I feel great and I'm even still sleeping well at night! Don't tell anyone, but I actually ENJOY being pregnant.
*Cameron & Brooklyn are beyond EXCITED! Having them both aware, excited, and talking about the baby nonstop has added a whole new level of joy this time around. Brooklyn still asks almost daily if the baby is big enough to come out and they both tell every random stranger we see about their baby sister!
*At this point, NOTHING is ready. I remember a month before Cameron was born, the nursery was set up, clothes washes and everything waiting...not so much with baby #3! :) We are putting our house on the market this weekend, so once I get through my house "to do list" I'll be able to think about my baby list...thank goodness for "nesting" energy!
* I feel super HEALTHY! This pregnancy was my first with a gestational diabetes diagnosis. Luckily, I was able to control my blood sugar through diet alone, and it has been a blessing in disguise. It's been 3 months since I had any kind of junk food at all!
*Total weight gain...ONLY 15 POUNDS and dropping! This may be normal for some people, but I gained around 25 with my first 2, so I'm excited to have less to lose. For the past few weeks, I've actually been losing every week. Awesome. :)
*I had an ULTRASOUND yesterday to check on her growth. She is doing great and is so SUPER CUTE! :) I think you can tell from the pictures that she has Brooklyn's nose. They estimated her weight right now to be 5 lbs 7 oz.
*My doctor is planning on INDUCING LABOR on either Feb 12th, or 14th. We may just get us a Valentine's Day baby!
*I've decided to try a "NATURAL" delivery this time. Although, if it's a long labor I'm definitely going to have them bring on the drugs! :)
*Baby Girl #3 still has NO NAME! Not sure why it has been harder to decide this time. We have a list ready, but haven't been able to commit to one. I guess we'll just wait until she's born and see which one fits.
*I CAN'T WAIT to hold this little girl in my arms and kiss her chubby cheeks!
CUTE...CUTE...CUTE!
