What We're Up To

ADAM:

Busy and Mostly MIA :)

Studying for National Boards, finishing his last externship rotation and looking for a job. We miss him, but are SO proud of him and grateful for all his hard work!

TIFF:

In Love!

This sweet little girl is such a joy, and I absolutely love having her in our home. I'm super busy with 3 kiddos, preschool and trying to keep the house clean for showings. Trying hard not to stress too much about the coming months and all the unknowns!

CAMERON:

Hilarious!

This cute kid is always making us smile and laugh. He is way into super heros and building with his blocks. He comes up with some really great "city" creations.

BROOKLYN:

Binky-less!!

This weekend we took Brooklyn to ToysRUs to pay for a new toy using her "Ni-Nights" (her name for her pacifiers). She chose this barbie and handed the cashier a bag with all of her binkies. That night at bedtime she asked for her "Ni-Night" and when I reminded her that we didn't have them anymore because we used them to pay for the Barbie she said, "I wanna take the Barbie back!" :) Sleeping with the Barbie next to her helped and she hasn't asked again. Yay for our big girl!

ANNISTON:

Just Pure Cuteness! 

This is very literally the happiest and sweetest baby on the planet. I will be forever grateful to my Heavenly Father for sending this sweetheart to our family. With all the other stress in our lives right now, this joy is exactly what we need.

Firsts

I've been meaning to post pictures of some of Anniston's "firsts" for a while. Time is flying by as we adjust to having a newborn in the house. It's so fun to watch her experience each new thing, but part of me wishes I could freeze time and keep her this small forever!

We have really been enjoying our last Memphis Spring and eat lunch in the backyard almost everyday. She loves the sun on her face.

One Fantastic Five Year Old

Our Favorite Little Guy Turned FIVE Today!

A few things I want to remember about this cool kid...

* He is HILARIOUS! He loves to make people laugh and is constant entertainment in our house.

* He is the absolute opposite of shy! He will talk to anyone about anything and everything. The other day while choosing the design for his birthday cake, he talked the workers ear off and then finished by telling her he was shy. She laughed.

* He is way too smart for his own good. I am constantly amazed at the things he knows and figures out and he is becoming a good little reader (when he feels like it :).

*I jokingly tell him that living with him is like a continuous game of "20 Questions". He is curious about everything.

* He is a fantastic big brother! He and Brooklyn play together so well most of the time and he absolutely adores Anniston. They are so lucky to have him.

*Adam and I are so proud of the cool little man he is growing into. He loves helping and is always trying to please us. We are lucky to have him too.

And, my favorite Cameron story of the year...

We were grocery shopping one day and ran into the Relief Society President in the "beverage" isle. He pointed right to the Heineken and said, "My daddy drinks this all the time!"... apparently he thought is was Pepsi. I laughed. I'm pretty sure she called the bishop.

Happy Birthday Buddy!

Grandparents Rock

Our kids are super lucky to have two incredible sets of grandparents!

My mom is the best. Period.

She stayed with us for almost 3 weeks after Anniston was born. She took care of all of us and she even taught preschool for me. I don't know what I would have done without her.

I can't believe I don't have any pictures of my dad and Anniston. It's probably because he was always busy fixing things and doing projects in the house/yard, or entertaining Cameron and Brooklyn. Oh ya, and he even bought me a new dress for the blessing day.

Yep, my dad is awesome!

Best In-Laws Ever.

It was so fun to have them fly in for a quick visit. We enjoy our time with them so much and they always spoil us rotten!

Did I mention how incredibly lucky we are?

Well, we are.

Newborn Photo Shoot

A friend of mine took these gorgeous photos of our sweet little miss. I absolutely love them. I can't even tell you how much we love having Anniston in our family. She really is pure joy.

 

She also snapped a few quick ones of the whole family. Unfortunately, this is the only decent one of all of us...just ignore that cute little stinker trying to be funny by putting her finger in her nose and it wouldn't be half bad! :)
