Fresh Start

Obviously, I took a little break from the blogging world! :) Hopefully you are glad to see me back! I will have to catch up with posts about our incredibly FUN and BUSY summer including a month in Utah, Lake Powell, and teaching Science Camp...but for now I'll just do a quick post about the most important thing...

Utah 2009

We had SO MUCH FUN spending almost a full month in Utah! Adam wasn't able to come for most of it so we missed him like crazy, but it was so fun to spend time with family and friends and show off my cute kiddos!

 They were natural born skaters! I was seriously so impressed with how well they both did. Especially since it was their fist time on the ice! 

 Luckily, Adam got to join us for a few days at the end of our trip. We sure did miss Daddy!

Lake Powell

I can't even put into words how much I LOVE Lake Powell! Some of my very best memories are of going there with my family every year growing up, so I was super excited to go again and take the kids this time. We were sad Adam had summer classes and couldn't come, but we definitely had a great time!

At first Brooklyn REALLY hated the sand and wouldn't even put her feet down. Luckily though, she grew to love it!

 I felt bad for Brooklyn stuck in her lifejacket 24/7, but she sure did look cute! 

Cameron and I went out on some not-too-crazy tub runs and he loved it! Later I even joined in on some of the teen tube runs...just to prove I'm not too old! ;)

 This is the rock Adam carved our initials in when we were 16!! Now that's true love!

 It took some convincing, but Cameron even went off the slide with Uncle Bry!

Way to go buddy!

 What a beautiful place and a fantastic trip!!

Nashville

Flights to Utah were cheaper leaving from Nashville than they were leaving from Memphis, so we booked our flight out of Nashville and decided to make a little pre-vacation out of it!

We LOVED Nashville! Such a beautiful city with some fun places to visit.
